Freedom wig and sleeping

Hi everyone.

I was curious about two things -- do any of you sleep in your old Freedom? I would never sleep in my new one, but maybe if it got old and I had another?

I was also wondering if any of you who have some regrowth were tempted to stop shaving and grow it out, how long that took and also if you then bought another wig, or if you somehow adapted your freedom to wear it with tape. Just curious in case I ever decide to regrow.

Right now though, must admit my Freedom is the best hair i've ever had (including my bio hair)

Hi Janine. My daughter slept in hers first semester of college. I wouldn't recommend it. It caused hair loss in the front (and maybe around ears?)I believe...can't remember really but do remenber it did indeed cause damage. :(

I don't want to sleep in mine, but I thought one day when it's lived its life and I have to get a new one, I might just use the old one to sleep in.

Hi Janine.  Nicole has a few old freedom hair pieces, she has slept in them at friends sleepovers on occasions but I don't think it is terribly comfortable.  Now most of her friends know about her alopecia and she is comfortable not sleeping in it around them:)  It is very hard on the piece as there is so much rubbing.  At one stage Nicole had alot of regrowth but she kept her head shaved as it was patchy.

Aren't they just awesome pieces I know when Nicole got hers it changed her life so much:)
