I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but I notice that my hair gets really kind of dry, dull, and shineless starting a few days after I wash it. When I wash it, I use conditioner & a "shine" hair serum.I don't use any heat whatsoever on my Freedom piece ever.
Just wondering if anyone here can relate to this, and what products anyone uses to help restore shine/life between washings. (e.g. spray on conditioner, ect.)

Thanks!

My stylist recommended Moroccan Oil...Google it if you've never heard of it. I think it works great! You only need a little bit though.
Yes, I too have experienced that also. The 14' FW in my photos was shampoo and contioned by Dawn at Invisible Hair the begining of last month. Before she washed and blow dried it she had did a oil treatment and it was fantastic! She used the same oil that Seed mentioned below except I think it had Jahoba (sp) oil in it also. She had sectioned the hair in 5 areas and used a boar bristle brush with the oil and brushed the hair sections 10 times each so that each hair/cuticle was covered with the oil and then shampoo, conditioned, and did the blowout. The hair on my FW was nice and smooth! That lasted for about a month but, then again it lasted that long was because I was wearing my other 12' FW to work and only saving my 14' FW to wear out on outings. Now that I fully transitioned into the 14' FW to work and everyday wear it will be harder for me to maintain the blowouts. I just shampoo, conditioned, and blow dried my 14' FW this past weekend and of course the result is not anything like what a professional hairstylist would get! My FW IA gave me some advice to treat myself and hair for a shampoo and blowout every once in awhile. Its inexpensive and the blowouts last a long time for us! It will definitely lower the amount of styling time for us. Heck, we just put the FW on top of our heads and we are good to go! Today is Thursday and my 14' FW is dull. I have an appt for a shampoo and blowout tomorrow and I'll post pics of my hair before and after. Heck, I'll do an experiment on here and post pics up everyday of my 14' FW and see how long the blowout last until I have to wash the hair on it again. Yep! Sounds like a plan! ~Holly
Seed- Thanks for the Moroccan oil tip; I will definitely look into this. Also, you look great in your FW--you are beautiful!

Porcelinh- thank you too for reading and responding so thouroughly to my question. Between you and Seed, it sounds like the Moroccan/jojoba oil products are worth a try. I'm also a little relieved to hear that it's not just me in the dry hair dept. The treating ourselves to occassional blowouts sounds like a good idea, too. I tend to get pretty paranoid about drying the hair out, so I NEVER use heat at all, although, there are times I'd like to. Thanks again :)
I use 1 drop of jojoba oil every AM. It's much cheaper than moroccan oil and works great.
Thanks, Deb for the tip--I'll have to give it a try :)
