Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
I'm a 46 year old married, mother of 2 teenagers. I'm a graphic designer. I've had Alopecia for 4 or 5 years. I'm a Hairless wonder, though nobody would know unless I told them. This is the first time I've put up a picture of me without a wig. I'm still afraid to go out without a wig -- I feel naked.
Are you age 18 or older?

    Hi Tori
Welcome! What kind of graphic designing do you do? My husband owns his own sign business so I'm just curious. Are you in Canada?

Hmmmm love the chocolates at the top of your page. This group is very creative. How are you?

I like the fact that this site is a place that you feel the freedom to put up a photo without your wig. It makes all this worth it!

LOL! I always joke with rj that in the winter my head looks green! After this winter I think he agrees with me. I somewhat light skinned, especially in the winter, so when the black hair that does grow, grows under the scalp in the winter I seriously has a green tint! LOL! The things we have to live with.

That's cool too! I'm actually looking at getting some business cards made up for my support group. We used to have a graphic designer friend who could have done it for me but she gave up the business. Do you think anyone would donate business cards or give me a deal for a non profit group? I don't need a whole wack of them or anything, maybe just 150 or so.

Thanx for the idea, I never thought of picking up stock paper. I'll let you know how everything turns out but if I have problems I'll let you know.
