Hey, I am Megan and I live in Philly, Pa. I have lived with AA since I was about 2 years old. I always had hair until one day in May 2007 I decided to shave it off. It was liberating. I felt free, free from hiding and covering up my insecurity. It was beautiful. I try to stay positive when people stare. I am appreciative and grateful that I am not ailing from a terminal disease, like so many others. I continue to remind myself that, ' HOW one overcomes adversity reveals a true strong character.'
Hi..no, I own wigs that I purchased at my local wig shop when I finally got the OK from the doctor to be able to wear a wig in 2000. At the time, it was paid for by my medical insurance. What is a freedom wig?
