I woke up one morning with a bald spot the size of a softball above my left temple, and my life has never been the same. That was almost 18 years ago. Now I live in Independence Missouri with my husband Joe and all our pets. I work as the news editor for a daily newspaper and can't believe how fast 30 has crept up on me.
