Hi, I am Jessica. I am 34 years old, I was born with Alopecia. I have never had a hair on my head. Well, besides the peach fuzz, my entire life has been a bad hair day.lol I have not been a member of this site for very long, however, I have been dealing with my Alopecia in a much more positive way since I have joined this site. It helps knowing that I am not the only person who has had to deal with living with Alopecia. Everybody here so far, has been very friendly.
Sounds like you're not as good as you would like to be!
I know how hard it can be. I have had alopecia for about 30 years. After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It might make you feel better. Check it out on my page -- and let me know how else I can help.

Hi. I read what you wrote in the AU group. I have AU for 13 years and still not accept this. Few people know about my problem because I never have the courage to talk about this! I use a wig for 9 years and I have lived with it relatively well, however I am still very reserved with the relationships and I suffer so much with it!
Hi Shuaa, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to Alopecia World. I have been living with Alopecia Areata since 1991 and know full well the struggle it can be. I look forward to getting to know you. Cheryl, Co-founder
