    Hi Susan and welcome,
    Have you thought about wearing a bandana?? It might not be as hot. If you feel more comfortable in your wig can you use wig tape. I am a Christian too and I do have my days where I struggle. Just remember God made us human. So if you need anyone to talk to just let me know. This site is so wonderful for love and support.

    Hi Susan,
    I've had alopecia for about 30 years. I understand how you can feel self-conscious. If you want to wear your wig, just hold onto it for the rides, or wear a scarf over it to hold it on. It's okay if you don't want to go without hair. Don't feel guilty. Whatever makes you feel happiest -- that's what you should do!

    ya i no and about the whole wig thing at the theme park
    there are theses clip things that are made for clips thnigs that you can buy and put them in there and clip that to your realy hair and then it will stay on worked for me

    do you go without your wig???

    it was going around that i was bald and i didnt want to tell nebody cuz like not to brag but i was popular and all those friends straight dumped me when they found out about my hair and i was like w/e that isnt a true friends but newayz when i got jumped the only reason was to see what my hair looked like undereath and like those girls were nobodys that did it and i put up a fight and after they did it pulled it off they got off and walkd away i told em to come back and they wouldnt that was there main purpose and that was bull sheeee

    I know this woman and she called me who is involved this show called the Doctors that coming out and they are doing a segment on Alopeica and they are looking to do a live consultation and help her find solutions on air - are you interested in doing this? They are providing a beautiful wig for free to the person kind enough to come on and will pay their way to and from LA

    Houston? aww it's so far, but it's really nice and real :) and thanks, I think you're really pretty (and cute ^^) so do you have AA as well? I'm going to Vegas next wk! I'm sorta nervous because I've been wearing hats 24/7 these days (since it's so cold here) but its going to be warm and I don't feel comfortable NOT wearing a hat :P I'm still waiting for my wig to be done (in a month) feels like forever!! But ya, you seem like you're handling this really well :)!

    It's a good thing your hair is growing back, your doc didn't tell you why it was happening? But nonetheless its the inside that counts right ;) although you are really pretty anyways :)
