Hi,I live in Edmonton,I also have AU,it don't bother me to much but I have to admit I do miss having eye lashes.

I often think that evev if all of my hair grew back that i`d probably shave it.Ihaven't had anything close to a full head of hair in years so I really don`t know what I would do.

You will love it. there is a big group of us around yourr age that goe every year . Conferences are the best and going alone this year too. So no worries it will be a blast if you dont ill buy you a drink on sunday.

Na we dont let peoper stand in corners alone at conferences. Thats Rule #1 Rule # 2 is that you cant go home with out at least 20 new friends. and rule #3 is that you have to have fun. there are alot of us on here that go to the conferences you wont have any trouble knowing a few people before you go.

I like your photos that you've got posted here....I'm new to this website...was hoping to leave eHarmony and embark upon the single sites of Alopecia....seeing as how I've had it pretty much my whole life and I'm struggling with "folks" on regular dating sites understanding the whole chemistry behind this disorder. Frankly, I'm getting tired of having to explain it to men and it's somewhat refreshing to see a site where there are lots of normal people like you and me!
Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself to you and your friends on your site.

Hi Steve,

I see you like fishing! I just bought my 5 year old nephew a fishing rod for Easter- so I might need some pointers before we go fishing!

I went deep sea fishing off the coast of Mexico -- and some how I caught a string ray???? go figure! But at least I was one of the few who did not get sea sick--- so I will not complain!

Hi! Yes there is a lot of great places to fish around here! There is a little neighborhood pond close to my nephew that I hope he can at least catch a few "sunnys" I grew up around the water- and think my sister and I had to be the "sons" my dad always wanted! He took us fishing, boating, even soft shell crabbing! ( that creeped me out!) -

Are there good places around you to fish?

I didn't unhook that stingray! Unfortunately I really snagged the stingray- I don't know if they really would try eat bait like that?? Don't know much about it- The funny part was that the bait was actually full size fish!! So every time I cast I thought I caught something! I keep pulling in screaming "I got one" and it was just the bait. opps.

Worked in MD at 19- that's cool? Are you from MD?
