Hi Tonia,
Welcome to Alopecia World! Glad to hear you found our group. I live in Peoria which is quite a drive to Tucson. I have had Alopecia since I was 5 and I'm now 51........a long time. Everyone here can certainly relate to you. Just know that you are not alone. I thought I was alone for most of my life until I went to a NAAF conference a couple years ago. It was amazing. And since we started a support group in Arizona I have made some wonderful alopecia friends. Keep in touch.
Take care,
Nancy
Don't you just love all of the advise "non-alopecia" folks can give so freely? LOL :)
Well you are with family now...and there is a lot of good advise here, a lot of shoulders to vent and cry to as well as help. Welcome!

Hi Tonia, good to hear from you. Sorry your new wig is itching so badly. What kind of cap is it? I know that I wear the monofiliment, hand tied wigs. They aren't netting or lace. Hope you can make it to our next meeting even though you have a long drive.
Tracy and Amanda
Welcome to Alopecia World!
