I have had Alopecia since I can remember. When I first got it it started in little spots and got worse. I moved from Chicago to Wisconsin when I was 14 and completely lost my hair. I have learned its not something to be upset about but something to be proud of because it makes you stronger. I have friends and family that love me regaurdless of how I look. I think the best people in the world are the people who love you for who you are on the inside and adore you for who you are on the outside.
Hi Natasha, I wanted to welcome you to Alopecia World. I can honestly say that we are a great community here and I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us.
Hey Natasha,
My book is called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" and it just won two national awards, one Book of the Year. There's a lot of info on it on my page if you scroll down further. It's a good read, lots of information, pretty funny and upbeat. You can get it on Amazon.
Hugs!
