I had to go to a regular salon, which is hard because I don't want other people knowing whats going on with me, and people can be so cruel, especially the younger generation, they have no respect for anyone and even if they don't say anything the stares alone is unerving. I try to go as early as possible and make sure the hairdresser know not to expose any of my head or show that I'm wearing a system. That was one thing I liked about going to the hair restoration facility because each room was private. I think now with so many wigs being made for people with alopecia that beauty salons need to have at least one private room to service us. Maybe I'm asking too much...
Carmen, I was just on the page for the gripper, and see cool solutions...it seems that might be something for me...thinning hair, diffuse female pattern hairloss. Can you maybe send me a link to a site to get some idea of the styles it comes in? I see the price points for length, maybe it just depends upon how one choses to style it. Does it come styled at all? I am in FL also, and am looking for something that will be cool and comfortable for FL heat and humidity, the price point is maybe too high for me. Also, as we get older, older women even those with all of their hair, ...we have "older" hair. It finally occurred to me just this week, how odd it may look for someone as they age to have hair on their head that looks like it belongs to a 20 yr old....any thoughts??

Thanks for the info. Who sells the "Gripper"? You said it's about $1600 right? That much for a back-up to my vacuum wig. Not sure?????
