About 9 years ago when I was going through my menopause, hair started falling out and I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata. Gradually over the years it has got worse and now I have no eyelashes or eyebrows (although I get them tatooed every 18 months). I have hardly any hair on my body. Unfortunately about 5 years ago I became divorced from my husband then of 33 years.
I started dancing and met a wonderful man. whom I now live with

    Hi Sharon, I'm from Melbourne too. I was just wondering how long did it take between when you started losing your hair to when all your hair was gone? I have Alopecia Areata now but it is steadily becoming worse and worse... Also, its good to hear you have found a new man who obviously understands and loves you for who you are!
