hey how r u doin, so how long u had alopecia, do u cope well, i got mine just over a yr ago, head hair fell out within 2wks after sufferin an allergic reaction to the sun, crazy things i say, anyways i have bn fine since ie health wise, my hair has bn growin since but very slow and was happenin at diff stages, but kept shavin it off and now it seems to be growin at same stage and there are little dark patches with the white so hopin this is a gd sign, anyways speak again sn, x

I started with AA but not it is transforming in AT and AU.. at different rates.

hey sorry very late reply. im doin ok felt a bit down this last wk or 2 with work bein very stressful and just thinkin about my hair, i have hair growin bak and some of it is comin in dark but its takin ages and actually pissin me off a bit, i keep thinkin i wish it would either just not grow or grow in prop, suppose cany have it all ways, lol
so how much hair have u got bak now and do u think it is these tabs u get from the shop, ive had vitamins from there before but im terrible for rememberin them, all my family, friends and work colleagues know about my hairloss as it fell out within 2wks so didnt have time to hide it, had to wear scarfs straight away, anyways hope u gd speak sn xx

hello im late at replyin aswell bn busy doin more hrs at work, im doin gd thanks just get down now and again wen i get down i feel really low then im fine, :):) i have alot moe dark hairs comin in :) which is a gd sign more dark eyebrows comin in and most of my eyelashes now so fingers crossed its all gonna happen very sn :)

i have never believed anything could help with regrowth if it happens it happens, i only went to my dermo once who wasnt helpful at all came out cryin but didnt nd to go bak nothing they can do, anyways hop ur gd away to bed im shattered speak sn xx

Hey! I just heard about Sheffield last weekend from a penpal! Thanks for the friend request! You are younger even than my sons...but if I can help in any way, good. I have a bunch of essay-type blogs (what can I say? I'm a mom and a teacher, and have had AA since 1963ish)...so read up on my page and click on the "more" word to see the older blogs and responses. I think I am running out of topics in my OWN explorations of this condition, but who knows when I will finally shut up about it? Ha ha!

Well I hope ur doing good at uni can't wait till I go but collage first lol I wish I knew y my hair is thining so much my mum and sister both have thick hair so I hate that I don't I did back in primary school :( but it's prob stress of all the course that MIT be setting it off 4 u just try and relax a bit that's wat i'm tryin lol

Hey thanks for the comment. Things aren't the best at the moment my alopecia has been getting worse and worse and hair just seems to be falling out everywhere. I guess that's just how it go's. How's things going with you?

Hey I have AA at the moment but it seems to be falling from around my ears now so I'm hoping it's not going into the ophiasis pattern and I have all these new little patches at the front of my head. I'd say I've lost probably half of my hair. I'm just so concious because we live in such a superficial world I always think that once I've lost it I will really struggle to meet girls. I always find myself getting really jealous of people with full heads of hair who are completely unaware of this condition. I should be having the time of my life right now as I'm living in Canada and plan to travel the world but I just can't get excited or happy about things that I'd normally be ecstatic about.. Sorry to rave on about it all..

I have had aa from february this year. I am fairly sure it was mostly caused by a lot of stress, but I also suffer from a lot of allergies so I was a more prone candidate! I have been treated with synalar gel, and it seems to be almost halfway grown back.
