About Me:
I am 37 with a wife and five kids. (9-5 weeks) I have a business degree and I'm back in school to get a CRNA degree. I am in the begining stages of a 6 year education. I love sports, outdoor activities and coaching my kids. I have been married 11 years and I am very happy. I noticed a bald spot in my beard last October 08. From there, it has taken off baby. I now have a half dollar size bald spot two inches above my hairline in the front. I went and got steroid shots there but it made a depression in my scalp. I plan on discontinuing shots after reading all of the long term side effects. Saying that, I figure I will have zero hair soon. I have had a great set of hair for 36 years and now I see how others that have never/hardly had hair must feel. All I can say about it is I know it could have been something worse. I am thankful it is not. (That I know of.) I have developed petechaie all over though.

Hi ! Thank you for your comments ! Im not sure what my condition is with my hairloss. I, personally, feel it is hormonal but it has been a nightmare trying to figure it out ! My husband shaves his head bald all the time and says that if all my hair falls out he will still be just as in love with me as before, but now I could wear different wigs and he says thats hot ! LOL ! He has been an awesome support for me ! My mom died at the age of 37 with a massive brain tumor. I have had two friends die within the last year of cancer...both in their 30's. I know I let this whole hairloss get the best of me, but sometimes we get so self absorbed and forget it could be much worse ! Unlike most men, when women lose their hair....it just really takes a toll on our self esteem. I feel like everyone sees my thinning spots and I have really shut myself off to society. I know that is not healthy, but Im working on it. I know that God allows us to go through things in our lives for a reason....but sometimes it is extremely hard not to become bitter. Yes, the women on the site have amazing stregnth ! I wish everyone the best of luck, love and life !!!! God Bless !
