Hi there--that's actually my real hair! I have AA. I currently only have a spot on the back of my head, but my hair is thinning and I am missing most of my eyebrow, so I pencil them in.

    You're welcome! I'm sorry about that :-/

Thank you for you're sweet, sweet words!  How are you?  I hope all is well and you're enjoying your weekend. :)

I'm still trying to get used to the look of these bangs...  Because of my tiny head (somewhere between a child and petite), I decided to spend a little more for the comfort.  The bulging from where the material gathered on my old wig only made me feel more self-conscious.

I went to a local place here in California (Heidi's Image Enhancement) where the owner/stylist, Heidi, measured my head and placed the order.  It's a microfilament, hand-tied, human-hair wig.  She ordered it a little bit bigger in the hopeful event that my hair begins to grows back.  She simply took a needle and thread to make it fit better and reassured me she could easily undo it if necessary.  I don't know which company she orders from, but she did mention that her clients living in other states continue to have her place the orders because she has their measurements and order histories.

Overall, it feels much better, and I love the fact that the entire cap looks more like my scalp (none of those embarrassing tracks marks on the lower part of the wig).  My only small complaint is that the bangs protrude outwards more than I would like, but again, I'm still just trying to get used to these bangs… You know how it is- focusing on every detail, questioning whether or not it looks natural…  Maybe fixating is a better word? Haha…  :)  Since it's chilly out, I can't say how it will feel under warmer temperatures.  Heidi told me to contact her anytime.  If you have further questions, let me know and, I will pass them on to her. :)

I shaved it and got a wig. This is all very recent, I just did it this past weekend. The wig is Raquel Welch Showstopper and the color is copper mahogany. It's lace front and heat safe so I was able to curl it with my flat iron. I wore it to work today for the first time and got tons of compliments. People who didn't already know I was going to be in a wig today just thought I colored my hair. (Guess they didn't notice it was also thicker and longer!) This is my first wig so I don't have anything to compare to as far as pros and cons with it.
