My wife and I are helping our 13 year old daughter deal with Alopecia. She's been losing her hair for almost 2 years, and it has progressed from AA to "almost" AT, and at present she is starting to lose her eyebrows, so we're just waiting to see where it goes from here. No matter what, we will support her however we can.
Hi Matt,
Thank you for your encouragement. Stephanie shaved her head at her 14th birthday party with 30 friends around her. Everyone was so supportive. Now she is losing her eyelashes and eyebrows. She only wore a wig to her choir concert, otherwise she wears a hat or goes bald. How are you guys? How is Mikayla?
Thank you Matt :) my daughter is 16. She developed au about 16 months ago. To say the least its been a journey but we are living and dealing as best as we can. Thank u for writing. I feel much better knowing I can talk to someone going thru a similar situation.
My question is what have your children been exposed to and share in common? Vaccines? mold, toxins, exposure to pesticides, nutritional deficiencies, dental toxins, even parasites?. All these things and more should be considered to get to the root cause of your children's hair loss issues. When the immune system is under attack something is causing it..question is how do you find out which of the problems mentioned above is responsible? Now there is new research and technology that can help identify the root causes of hair loss and underlying conditions linked to this problem. If you want more information on this matter please let me know.
