Nancy, I'm still figuring out how to work with this website, so hopefully I'm replying to you in the right place! Yes, I will have to travel to Duke in order to participate in the study. Fortunately I live about an hour away from them so it's not a big issue for me. I'm guessing that you saw all the other sites where they are gathering data around the country? If any of them are within a reasonable travel distance you may be able to participate in the study by contacted someone at that site. I remember reading somewhere that someone was having trouble connecting with the right person at one of those sites - I think it was in Pennsylvania, so I thought I would try to find out for that person whom they should call. It took me several attempts to get a response back from Duke - I think people are just so busy with other things that they don't get around to responding in a timely way. Probably because they are not losing their hair :-).
