I am a fashion designer. I'm married to my wonderful, supportive husband, Andrew, and we have three amazing children. I started losing my hair at age 22. My hair has fallen out and then grew back a few times. About four years ago, I became completely bald. I've had to pencil in my eyebrows and use eyeliner to disguise the fact that I don't have lashes.
Last year, my lashes started to grow again. There are also very fine hairs appearing all over. I've never been so excited to see hair on my knuckles. It's going to get better.

Hi Elith,
Thanks for contacting me and also for making me your friend on Alopecia World. If I can do anything to help you, please don't hesitate to ask. I've had AU for more than 20 years and in the beginning it was truly a challenge. Now that I'm older and my own hair would be grey if it grew I'm happier with my ''younger' hair and no grey! That and not having to shave my legs and arms - there are some pluses to alopecia!

I'm just hoping that they keep growing, as that's the only hair on my entire body that has grown back in. :)
