I've had alopecia areata since I was about 17. I haven't met many people with the same issues, so it's nice to find a place where I can talk to people with similar problems. I'm very accepting of my situation right now, but there are always moments which are a bit more difficult, as I'm sure you all know!

    Thanks, Milka, for accepting. Yea, it's good to meet here. I found it very encouraging when I did my step of shaving off the rest of my hair. I'm just sometimes tired of shaving but I like our looks. Certainly easier for a guy than for a gal to go bare headed in society as it is. Love the courage of those who do it; makes it more "normal", a feature in daily life. I love your looks, your decoration, the lizard ... Take care and have a great week!
