About Me:
I am a stay at home mom to a 2 and 3 year old and a stepmom to a 10 and 11 year old. I have had alopecia since I turned 15 (yeah as a sophmore in high school) and have been supported by my family for 13 years. My husband and sister call me a beautiful bald princess and make me feel like one too. I have not become comfortable yet to go out in public without my wig but I am becoming more comfortable in front of friends and family.

    I love your photos, your kids are adorable. I have had alopecia areata for about 6 years. Still have some hair left but not much...
    It is nice to meet so many moms on this site and to find out how everyone and their kids deal with alopeica.

    Yea! Ppl from CT! I'm so glad I found this group... I just was diagnosed with cicatricial alopecia. Do you all ever get together - for support? I'll have to look around here and find out. I live in West Hartford.
