About Me:
I'm a wife and mother of a beautiful 3 year old daughter. I am 32 years old and have been dealing with alopecia since I was 19. I wore a wig for almost eight years. I have not worn a wig for the past 4 years but my hair is starting to fall out again so I will be wearing one again. I have been suffering from this condition since day one...I don't think I've really ever accepted it but now I'm trying to reach out for support and inspiration from others like me.

    hello Esther ,I'm Nitza I was diagnosed with A.A on new years eve of 2008. I see you live in clifton thats cool I live in garfield it would be nice to get to know you and talk to.I see your getting a wig thats cool.my family wants to get me one but I'm not ready for that yet. I wear scarfs and hats. god bless

    Hi Esther,

    I'm writing to you because I will be having a program at my school "What is Beautiful" and we'll be discussing the many lengths that women/ men have gone to achieve what is beautiful according to society. We will show quick clips and then have a panel consisting of Rutgers students and people with alopecia. Would you be interested in participating or know of anyone that is around the NJ area that would like to participate?
