How long have you been bald? Atleast with the help of your eyebrows and lashes your situation became normal or atleast attract less attention coz people will think it just your choice to shave your hair. When it comes to alopecia awareness... i think people dont know much about it, the only people who knew it is the one who have alopecia and there family and of course there friends. Here in our place i can say that people are not really aware of it... they just think were bald they dont even recognize the term alopecia. And also there is lesser effort to provide awareness about it, Like me i just learned about alopecia when i was already in Highschool all the while i know that i dont have hair and im bald other information than that i dont know. Thats why im very glad that i found this site in the web coz somehow i am able to communicate with people like you who understand my situation coz i dont know any people here in my place with the same case as me, i knew one popular people here with alopecia but i havent met any ordinary people here with the same case as mine.

Yeah i have change my photo... that one was my recent photo and i wear my new wig in that photo. I got 2 wigs both of them are short coz i cannot wear long wigs because of my profession, im a nurse so i need to tie my hair but since i can not do that i need to choose shorter hair and short hair attract people attention less, thats what i have notice.
Actually im glad that i found wigs at lower price and very affordable. Before i search the net on different wigs and they are very expensive and we can not afford it... i saw one wigs which cost 200-300 dollars very expensive coz our currensy is peso and not dollar so if we convert it its about 9,000 to 13,500 very expensive right?
