Hi Lisa, I know what you are going through. My daughter is 16 and had patchy alopecia for 3 years until this summer when she lost most of her hair. She is in a wig since Sept and believe it or not she says is easier than trying to hide her spots. I was lucky to find someone local recently, but we started out with a friend in NYC. My daughter started wearing nightcaps recently because she said her head gets cold at night. I found them at slumbercaps.com, they're soft and washable. I hope things work out for the best.

We still have our moments. . .she usually takes the wig off the minute she gets home, but it's much better. Please let me know if there's anything we can do to help.
