- 28 yr old single mom of two girls ages 3 & 7 my 3 year old lost her first patch of hair at 18 months old. she has alopecia areata. i knew exactly what it was and i knew there was the possibility cause her father and his brother have it but i really hoped it wouldnt pass on. but now that its here i researched it and spoke to her doctor but hey shes happy and other then having an autoimmune disease shes healthy. so i am a happy mommy!!

That is great that you educated the little girls! It will make her life a lot easier, the more kids understand. And yes, my book would be great for you to read, not only for her future, but I have a chapter on little girls called "Baby Blues." If you decide to get it, let me know how you like it!
