- Hi After a severe undiagnosed hypothyroid problem and other hormonal issues (where I lost 3/4 of my hair)coupled with a "female pattern baldness" diagnosis, I was given a plethora of meds --to no avail. Either I'm needing to raise the dose or change to other ones,because my hair is so sparse that I've had to wear wigs for the last 2 years.
