- I am a 35yr old stay-at-home Mom to 4 kids. Ages 9 (boy), 7 (girl), 4(girl) and 23 months (boy). After the birth of my 7 yr old daughter I noticed a dramatic loss in volume of my hair. This trend has continued for the past 7 years and I am thinning quite severely in the frontal section of my hair. I get very depressed when I look in the mirror and see this loss. I have had all the tests done, I am perfectly healthy, just unfortunate to have alopecia. I have started on Rogaine recently.

Hello Angela - Welcome to Alopecia World. Not to assume with 4 children that you have a lot of time to spend on the computer, this is just a note to let you know that there is a group on AW for Wisconsinites called "Alopecians in Wisconsin".
