- I am a 26 married woman. I noticed my first bald spot when I was 17 since then I have over 20 or so. I am so happy to join a group that understands how this can affect your life. My husband nor the rest of my family or friends as this so they do not understand fully how it feels. I am excited to meet new people that share the same emotionals as I do.

I know how hard alopecia can be; I have had it for about 30 years. After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!"
