- I am a 49 year young female. I have worn a wig for the last 10 years and feel so much better about myself with it on, it definitely makes me feel & look younger! lol Im a teacher part time and a part time hair stylist too. Single and am a little embarrassed when Im with a man and he talks about running his fingers thru my hair. I would like to find out more information on how apply a wig and it not slide off when in bed. Right now I use some of the clips that I have sewn onto my wig and clip onto the little bit of hair that I have left. In our family it is hereditary that we lose our hair starting at the age of 15. I also am going to Cancun in April and wanted to do water activities, but wanted to know if I could get into salt water with my wig on?
