- Hi I am Annah, I am 21 yr
I was diognoised with AA last yr 2013 I started losing patches and now I've nearly lost all my hair I won't leave my house because I can't afford a wig I've to get tested for other immune diseases as my durmatoligist thinks there is more wrong then just AA but he thinks I might just lose all my hair that I might not have any hope of keeping any of it.
I can't cope with it so I'm signing up to see how others deal with it because I've lost all my confidents so I thought maybe talking with people who are going through what I am going through might just help me not to forget it but to over come it and get on with life and try and be happy with or without hair. But I think what scares me most is how I'm going to be judged by others it's terrible to ever have to go through but I realize that there is also others going through it and I'm not the only one but my question is is how common is it? How do you manage your day to day life with A? How do you feel beautiful? It's embarrassing and cruel for anyone to go through so if this site helps others I am hoping it's going to help me too not only have I lost my hair and confidents etc I also lost my job because I was losing my hair so I have gotten judged by it I have also lost friends over it it's quit heartbreaking.
