Hi. Like I said, I think it was by Neil Postman not Neil Rosen. And it was probably a comment in the Milw Journal sentinel about the media. I might still have the clip in a bottom drawer somewhere. The last time I submitted a comment was, in response to someone else's comment about "over population," I think, in the Monday March 3rd Milw Journal Sentinel letters to the editor. Anyways, I consider my self a social media critic and a critic of human and social nature almost religiously. later, Mark S Hansen
Hi. I thought I read that quote by Neil Rosen, in an article in the Nation mag way back in the mid 90's. I used that quote on a number of papers I did while a Mass Comm student at UWM. But I think I must have quoted Neil Postman, not Neil Rosen, who I believe has also passed away. Furthermore, just what did I post on this web site that would require that quote anyways? I don't remember. I also do not have my own home computer, I only have use of one here at the east side Milw library for two hours a day. Later Mark S Hansen
Hi again. I just added a 2 part comment/response to your question about the quotes. If you can't find them let me know and I will re-type them for you when I get back up here to Milwaukee Thursday afternoon or Friday earlier in the day. \
Thanks
Mark.
