I was diagnosed with androgenic alopecia last year. I have lost a lot of hair in this time frame and in the last several months I've noticed that I'm losing eyebrows , eyelashes and other boddily hair. Dermatologist has been very dismssive and just told me to use minoxidil-hesitant to use it because read that it can make your hair fall out as well. This is having an immense effect on my life. I'm extremely depressed, won't leave the house have no self esteem and even taking medication as a result of all ot this. I obsess about this problem constantly to the point of being suicidal. I'm cureently on disability from my job as a dietitian recovering from another illness that had no impact on my hair loss.
