- Have recently been told my 16 yr old daughter has alopecia. The doctor said there is nothing that can be done and was left at that. I am very concerned they not helping her as she is now losing quite a lot of her hair and is very upset about it. Have joined this group to get some advice about alopecia, things we can do or try.
