- I am 34 years old and have had alopecia since I was roughly a year old. I have two sons and my first born is 8 years old with no problems but my son Trew who is for 4 years old wasn't so fortunate. When he was about 15 months old he lost all his hair as well. This crushes me knowing what he has to go through.
