- I lost my hair in 1995. It was not due to cancer, but there is a medication I was taking, and have done research and found many others who have experienced at least, a great deal of thinning hair, if not complete allopecial. I have been delighted to find such a nice selection of hair, and once I realized it wasn't going to come back, I had someone suggest to just buy wigs, I enjoy, and not worry about what anyone else says. I have taken that advice to heart, but I have to say that it's easier to say than to actually feel confident, but I have been working on it, and I am always looking for new styles, that will provide me with the most natural looking styles.
