Hi Carly, your color font on your page is hard to read..Anyway, I am happy to hear from you. It sound like your son is doing fairly well. Just yesterday Sam told me it does not matter if her hair grows or doesn't grow..Unbelievable!! She is actually having regrowth now and wants it to stay, but she understand very well that it can fall out. I can't believe your son had such an awful reaction to the treatment. Your story was scary..Samantha is doing a treatment called SADBE. It is squaric acid. The major side effects are an itchy scalp and irritation. You need these effects for the meds to work. She started growing her hair about 5 months later. Still no lashes and brows, but the doctor says it will come. We only treat the scalp, but the meds work the entire immune system. I hope you have a wonderful vacation and get rejuvenated. It is honestly harder on the parents to deal with then the parents. And while I have been better at accepting it and I still have moments that I flip out and cry..Keep being a support system to your son and you'll all get through it..Cindy
