- Hi,
I've been diagnosed with AA in 2008. Since then, I have had an outburst once a year. Every year, right after the Christmas holidays I loose 20 to 40% of my hair, Usually it slows down in March and my hair starts regrowing. In August/September my bold spots aren't visible anymore and I can feel comfortable with my hair again. But only for a few months until it starts again in January. I am curious to hear if anybody experienced the same regularity when it comes to their AA outbursts ?
Since AA started I focused on keeping strong and haven't really opened up to people who are in the same situation. Today I decided to join this forum.. let's see where it goes ;)
