- Hi everyone! I am 25 years old living in brooklyn with my boyfriend. My hair loss journey began about 3-4 years ago when my hair started shedding!! The derm obviously told me it was TE, as they all do. It hasn't stopped so now they have declared it "female pattern baldness" or whatever. Then last summer i found a bald spot on the back of my head, but I took care of it with steroid injections and I think I went for those shots about 3 or 4 times and my hair grew back. I haven't been back since last year and the hair didn't fall out again. Too bad I don't care about it anymore hahah! I'm going to shave my head once I have enough money to get a really nice hair piece!! I just wanted to say that in the beginning the thought of wearing a hair piece was soooo not going to happen and all I did was cry praying that my hair would grow back...now I'm crying because hair pieces are what's going to bring back so much of what I've lost in my self. I've been studying lace front application techniques from talented women on youtube and let me tell you, our hair is going to look better than it did before all of this started. So ladies and gents don't worry, there is a solution!!! And a fun one at that!!! :)

Congrats about finishing finals! YAY!
Thanks for the compliment on my hair! In this profile photo I'm wearing a virgin European hair wig, custom made at Brenda Kay Hair Specialities. She is my go-to wig person. Love that she is reasonably priced and guarantees satisfaction! I also have a few synthetics that I wear whem I go to the gym, travel or other times when I want wash-and-wear hair.
