- 32 year old married father of two. started with a small bald patch in my beard on the right side burn, has gradually spread over the past 18 months. Previous to the first signs of balding i had parathyroid disease resulting in the removal of a thyroid gland (quite uncommon in males of my age)
My small balding patch has continued to grow resulting with the loss of facial hair on the right hand side of my face. The balding is now starting to spread upwards above my right ear and continues to grow (not the hair), meanwhile I am experiencing regrowth in my beard - white fuzzy peach fuz.
I didn't mind the balding on my face as i could shave, however its the hair loss on my scalp which is starting to concern me. I am trying to stay positive and not taking any medication and hope it will eventually stop and regrowth on my head will begin.
