You might want to check out the help available at the Naitonal Alopecia Areata Foundation, www.naaf.org. They have a free "School Pack" that inlcudes materials that will help with situations like this, including a video that the school can play for the students which explains alopecia. When kids understand, they are usually more sensitive.
