Hi again Cinzie, I try to make sure that everyone knows about the Wisconsin group but not always as attentive as I should be. I just happened to check about the time that you joined AW:).
Very sorry to hear about your situation. Although this disease is not new to me or my lifestyle, it continues to cause anxiety so periodically I find myself wondering what life would be like without it which makes absolutely no sense; the hairless body will remain.
Thanks for your response; I hope you find some benefit from belonging to the AW group. There are certainly a lot of wonderful people who are here to share their stories and offer some kind words. Happy 4th. Susan
Hi Cinzie, Imagine summer is a challenge with the hair loss...or so it goes with me. Because I wear hats or scarves while walking on our road, the children continue to ask when my hair will be back:). When this site started, I started a group at Alopecia World for those of us living in Wisconsin in case there are some local events that may be beneficial for one to know about. It's also sort of nice to see how many of us are from the area. We'd love to have you sign up with us; we're listed as Alopecians in Wisconsin. Hope you have an enjoyable 4th of July! Susan (from the Waunakee area)
