Hi Claire - I'm 62 and was losing hair gradually (receding hairline like "male pattern baldness" for 6 months before I was diagnosed with Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia. That was in April. Since then my hair loss has progressed despite treatment & spread to the side and back of my head. I typically wear super wider head bands now & have a small patch of naturally curly hair sticky up in the middle. But that's may not work for much longer. I also have a wig. But it's hot to wear & im still not super comfortable in it. I have thought about shaving my head & actually thought about it when I was 50 (as a method to stop coloring my hair). But my hairdresser said it might not grow back, so I didn't. My husband said he'd rather have a gray haired woman than a bald-headed woman. LOL. Thanks for reaching out to me!
