- I am a 34 year old mother of 3. Started noticing thinning about 4 years ago. Have a fluctuating thyroid that could be contributing but doctors are no help. I have no insurance and paid cash for visits and test and they will do nothing as long as test results is in the "normal" ranges. But thyroid is majorly fluctuating within 2 month periods. I feel like no one will help and I cannot afford anymore useless tests.
