Been losing hair all over my head for 5 years. Nothing helps, and there seems to be a genuine lack of interest from anyone that could help the condition. Its been tricky, as i've just lost hair universally, and gradually, that it was called into question wether i was losing any, but now its to the stage where i have to cut it extremely short. Chronic Telogen Efflevium maybe or it is just the dreaded MPB in a univeral pattern.
I cant tell you why it affects me so much. I just cant seem to relate to myself without a decent head of hair. Morrissey says, if your hair is wrong, your life is wrong, and worringly i relate to that. Although there are so many worse things in the world, this is always a massive obstacle.
I doubt i wouldve minded if i were older, but from 17-23, ive not really been able to get around it, and its quitely ruining everything.
a silent nightmare indeed.
I love the idea of this, because hair loss can be a terribly lonely thing, you walk around everywhere and all you see is hair. To be around people in the same situation, who can relate, is very comforting
