I am a mother to 2 wonderful children. My youngest has been suffering with hair loss for 2 years. At the age of 2 she went completely bald. Although it all regrew, she keeps getting recurring bald spots and is now again having all over severe thinning. You can see her whole scalp with only a dusting of hair. My MIL, and 2 SIL's both have bald spots happen but have never been diagnosed. I was told that it probably wasn't alopecia, but I am now going to ask for a referral. It's time to find out what we are dealing with. Just looking for some support with this scary situation.
