I was diagnosed with alopecia universalis at the age of two. I had a rough time with self esteem. From the beginning of kindergarten all the until I graduated high school I wore a hat.
I was afraid others would make fun of me or not want to be my friend.
I used to believe that you had to have hair to live normal life.
Looking back, none of that was true. I made plenty of friends, and became a more spiritual and understanding individual.
Since alopecia is a pretty common non life threatening disease, I want to give back to others with similar conditions as I.
I started a clothing company called nothingfitsus and Profits from what I make here at NothingFits will go towards helping others with alopecia. ( Buying wigs for little girls and boys as well as donating to different foundations aimed towards research)
I am a person who believes everything happens for a reason and I was given no hair to learn that hair doesn't make a person who they are, nothing does. We are nothingness, a blank canvas, to create ourselves however we can with the tools we were given.
