I'm a 30-year-old student and I developed AA in the summer of 2011, when I was 29. I was able to control it reasonably well through a combination of kenelog, prednisone, and minoxidil, but now that I'm pregnant, I can't safely use those treatments anymore. So -- surprise, surprise -- my AA is getting worse very quickly, and heading to ophiasis and beyond (I keep finding new patches on top of my head, as well as on the back and sides). I'm having a tough time dealing with all of this, and joined this site to find some support and comfort in other people's experiences. I'd love any advice about: coping, how to find a good wig, treatments during pregnancy, or anything else. Thanks very much.
