- hello ,my name is Emma, 25years old,married since last year and I have alopecia,we are by no means friends but have learned to live side by side over the years, we have had plenty of time as I am a sufferer since I was 8years old. I wear a fantasic hair piece (which I call my hair,not wig or any of those terms) I have my eyebrows tattooed and I wear fake eyelashes (which I find the hardest deal with because I only lost them this year) so nobody apart from my family and husband know I suffer with this condition unless I choose to tell them which is my way of dealing with it and it seems to work cause Im a pretty happy person over all :)
