About Me: My name is Faheemah. As a child, I had really long hair that I was really proud of and that many people used to compliment me on. Suddenly, I begin to lose patches of hair that grew back during 1st grade. In eighth grade, I begin to lose hair again, but the lost was worse than before and in ninth grade I was diagnosed with Alopecia. It was hard for me, because my hair was my everything, but I grew to realize that it's just hair and there are many people out there like me. It was hard for me to explain to people, but many of my close friends and family showed me support. I'm engaged to a man who loves me for who I am and has shaved me head on a few occasions.
