- Hi guys ,im a 31 year old female.started losin my hair about 4 months ago in diffuse pattern .very itchy scalp with some dandruff and some scalp spots .Just started seeing an nhs dermatologist two weeks ago .Bloods been done so waiting on results.He seems to think its hormonal as l am covered in acne too and body hair has got heavier.lts now caused depression .l am still quite ill with depression but not as bad as l was .l just feel hair loss and acne are holding me back .feel like no one will ever find me attractive again .Ive lost all my confidence .I want my life back .So low in confidence l hardly leave the house now and hardly see friends and family .lf l need to go to drs /hospital or bank etc it takes me hrs to work up courage to get out the door.I need a diagnosis ASAP !l spend alot of my day googling 'hair loss and acne 'and scare myself half to death thinking l have some terrible disease.l know that's not healthy but l feel like l can't wait about while more of my hair falls on the ground .l need to know what is causing this !!!its driving me crazy (well crazier than l already am lol!).l was so happy when l came across this website in my dermatologists office!l really need some form of support to get through this !!!!!we all do !
