About Me
I am new to alopecia, i sometimes try to ignore it but Its getting worse! I find it hard to cope sometimes when I hide it with my hair style but on windy days it's shows up and I think sometimes it would be easier to shave it all off!! I have two patches now, one large one above my ear down to the hair line and a new one size of a 50p on the back of my head.

Jamie, it might grow back and you may never have another spot. It could grow back and fall out again, or you could get spots in other places. Alopecia is completely unpredicable. There is no cure right now, but they are working on it. Scietists have located 8 genes that are responsible for alopecia areata. There are treatments that can help the symptoms temporarily, or they can disappear. I hope you are one of the fortunate ones whose symptoms disappear!
